Album Info:Over the weekend of April 20-22, 2007, John Craft and his group "Steam Specials" chartered a special photo freight with Pere Marquette 1225. The locomotive was physically altered from her "As-Built" look to a more appropriate "In-service" look, which includes a visorless headlight and NKP style "Flying" numberboards. The white striping on the engine's running boards was also painted over for the event. I was not a member of the charter, but the organizers allowed some non-participants to photograph the train at some locations. All of these photos were taken in the morning on the 21st.
