Long Way to go |
Description: |
Well, Flint isn't that far away, but it kind of seems that way. GT 4618 enters the Flint Subdivision to head back to the yard in Flint. I really like this photo. |

GTW 4618 crosses Ann Arbor Street |
Description: |
This train was kind of a surprise. It was an Extra Yard job from Flint (I believe the symbol for this one was Y105, or something). It's assignment was to deliver some cars from Flint to the Durand Yard, and then run back to Flint. It is pictured here crossing Ann Arbor Street on the High-Wye, as it proceeds to the Holly Sub. Once again, I wasn't able to get to the crossing in time, so I had to do a zoom shot from the depot. Once it reached the Holly Sub, the 4618 pushed the train passed the depot, and deposited its cars in the Durand Yard. |
